August 2026 New Living Wage Employers 

We have certified 12 New Living Wage Employers across BC!  

With their employers’ commitment to providing a Living Wage, direct employees and numerous contracted workers can experience greater financial security. The assurance that basic needs can now be met alleviates significant stress, and takes a step towards addressing affordability for workers.

Growth in Numbers and Sectors 

This month we have certified Living Wage Employers in different sectors and communities. From community organizations like the Niislaa Naay Healing House Society and North Shore Community Resources to businesses like Carter Hales Design Lab Inc, Vic City Crane Ltd, Water Street Engineering Ltd and Studio 531 Architects Inc. 

We are proud to celebrate these organizations for stepping up and ensuring their teams earn a wage that reflects the true cost of living. Their example is paving the way for a stronger, more equitable workforce in BC.
