Join us for an engaging afternoon of food, art, storytelling and community
11.6% of all people who work in Metro Vancouver live in poverty. Almost half of those people are living with children who depend on them. Child poverty and family poverty are connected, and in British Columbia, one in five children live in poverty.
The Living Wage for Families Campaign is kicking off the recruitment phase of a participatory action research (PAR) project to better understand the impacts of working poverty on individuals and families.
If you have lived experience with low-wage work or you represent agencies, organizations, initiatives, communities, or families impacted by working poverty, please come to this event!
You will have an opportunity to learn more about the project and how you can get involved in this important research!
A delicious lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Everyone is welcome!
This event is free, but registration is required. Please register below.
